Let's go back to the start...

It is a wish come true! Harry Potter all over again! :)

After the 7th book got over, it left me with an empty space, with a feeling that something in my life was over and I would never be able to discover new things about it anymore. However, the movies were still remaining, and I eagerly awaited them. Finally on 15th July 2011, it all ended, with a very disappointing end to the series.

However, an author knows her fans. So comes J.K. Rowling with a site just for her fans- "Pottermore". And omg, it is really a wonderful innovation! It required early registration, requesting membership by finding some items. Those who managed to do so in time got an email to join before it was opened for the world in October. I accessed my account yesterday and I am already addicted. I'm called Eyeprophecy148 and I have reached chapter 11 of the first book so far. Best thing: I was sorted into Gryffindor!!!! Happiest =)

Looking forward to collecting more trinkets, brewing potions, casting spells and duelling and loving what I adore the most: The Harry Potter feel.

Oh and the most coveted thing on this site: Rowling's new thoughts- on different characters, places, objects etc which she has not shared in the books but which form the basis of the entire series. Just loving the information and understanding everything better!

Gimme more

Yes! I am way over 18 years of age. But when I turned 18, I became an adult. The government allowed me certain things all at one go. So "legally" I could watch certain movies with explicit content, drive a car all on their own in a crazy city like Delhi,  could have married a stranger and created kids and taken care of them, all at 18! I could have legally dealt with all these and emotionally as well...being 18, I could suddenly handle the world.
Wow, so empowered...and I had only just entered college. But wait, legal age to drink in Delhi is 25. So, I can do all of these but I can't handle my drinks? I can't have any alcohol legally even now, 3 years have gone by. But did that stop me? Hahaha
And did I get caught? LOL

Well, why make such rules when everyone's flouting it? Why become strict only when the excise department is hounding your restaurant? Otherwise they serve anyone and everyone. Obviously if all the 18-24 year olds withdrew from drinking all together, watch how the companies' profits, restaurants' businesses and government's taxes go bust! Be a little sensible, dear Delhi and stop the crazy drunk fucks guys all around.

Also in awe of TOI for their amazing campaign-It's my life! Times of India Campaign

Am I that grown up?

Well, I can hardly believe that college is in fact over! It has been a month of no college and it still hasn't sunk in entirely. And where am I? Working !! Well, work is actually very interesting since it is a direct application of what I learnt in my course. That's why I'm liking it so much, but still one whole month of it already! Really can't seem to believe that!

Waking up on time, being responsible, taking care of things...college was a different world from all this!

Anyway, I like the people I hang out with in office, at least there's stuff to laugh about.. :)

Looking forward to an August full of extended weekends! so excited!
Usually my weekends spent catching up with friends and family..I feel so old.. I hardly have anytime for myself...
